Identifying Drug Impairment for
Patrol Officers

Officers are routinely contacting drug impaired drivers, however drug impairment may be confusing and difficult to identify. This presentation gives an overview on the drug categories and drugs that fall within those categories. Topics covered include how drugs may be ingested, how long impairment may last and specific signs of impairment for each drug category.

 

This training is approximately 1 hour and is approved for continuing education hours for Missouri law enforcement.
